Alta Archaeological Consulting is a women-owned small business enterprise that provides cultural resource management services to public agencies and the private sector. We provide expert advice and innovative solutions for compliance with environmental regulations.

ALTA staff have been providing archaeological and cultural resources services for a wide range of major projects for over two decades. We are experienced in all areas of archaeological review, from initial feasibility studies and regional overviews; to comprehensive field studies including inventories, testing, geoarchaeological, and data recovery investigations; to final phases of project implementation focused on the development of management and mitigation plans. These projects have been conducted in support of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), and to conform with specific federal agency directives and various state environmental policies.
